Questions? We've got the answers
- Check that you’re a billing admin on the account you’d like to apply the credit to – if you can’t manage payment methods and apply coupon codes, you won’t be able to redeem your coupon code!
- Note that your campaigns won’t end automatically once you’ve spent your credit. To avoid any unwanted spend, set a daily budget and end date accordingly
- If you don't use US dollars in LinkedIn advertising account, don’t worry! It'll automatically convert to your account's currency once you apply the coupon code
- Sign in to LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- You should see a welcome screen asking you to create a new ad account
- Click the Create button and select Campaign from the dropdown
- Choose your campaign objective and ad format (check out our LinkedIn Campaign Planning Workbook to get set up right)
- Follow the creation flow for a new ad campaign
- Once you get to the billing page, enter your billing information and your coupon code
- Enter your coupon code and click Apply
- Click Review order to create your campaign
- Sign in to LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Make sure you’re in the right account by clicking the account name in the upper-left corner of the page and selecting the right account name in the dropdown
- Click Account settings in the left-hand menu and select Billing center
- Under Billing activity, click Coupons/credits
- Enter your coupon code in the Redeem Coupon field and hit Apply
Note: Check that you’re a billing admin if you don’t see the Redeem Coupon field after following these steps. You’ll need to ask a billing admin to add you to the account you’d like to use the coupon code with.
There are several reasons you may not be able to use your coupon code. These include:
- The coupon code has expired
- The coupon code has already been used, either by you or someone else
- Your account has previously used a coupon and your current coupon was valid for new advertisers only
- You’ve redeemed a coupon in the last 90 days
If none of these situations apply to you, you should contact LinkedIn Customer Support.
The value of your coupon code is US$100. If your account doesn’t use US dollars, the value will be converted to your account’s currency.
Your coupon code expires on 31st January 2023. Alternatively, to see when your ad credit expires in LinkedIn Campaign Manager:
- Sign in to LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Make sure you’re in the right account by checking the upper left-hand corner of the page
- Click Account settings in the left-hand menu and select Billing center
- Under Billing activity, click Coupons/credits
- Check the coupon code expiry date in the Expiration Date column
- Sign in to LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Make sure you’re in the right account by checking the upper left-hand corner of the page
- Click Account settings in the left-hand menu and select Billing center
- Under Billing activity, click Coupons/credits
- Check the Remaining Credit Amount section
LinkedIn needs your billing information for any charges you earn in the event your advertising credits run out before your campaign has ended.
Avoid spending over the coupon code amount by setting a total campaign budget for the same amount as your coupon code. Learn more about how to set a total budget.
LinkedIn deducts your campaign spend from your advertising credit balance until it’s fully exhausted. They’ll then bill your payment option if your campaign spend exceeds the amount of your advertising coupon code.
